Delphinus is in Slip K121. You will see several brown buildings (Harbormaster). K Dock is directly behind these buildings. Continue down the ramp onto K Dock. Delphinus is a large, two decked, white vessel berthed in slip K121, about halfway out the dock on the left hand side. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.

Driving East on Hwy. 80:

  1. Take the Powell Street exit.
  2. At the stop light, turn left and go under the freeway.
  3. Turn right onto Frontage Road. Follow (next to the water) to University Ave. (3rd stop sign).
  4. Turn left onto University Ave. The street comes to a "T." Continue to the left, then take the first right into the parking lot for slips "J-K". Parking is free in the Marina, there is more long-term parking across the street in the dirt/gravel parking lot.

Driving West on Hwy. 80:

  1. Exit highway at University Ave. exit.
  2. Follow University Ave. west to the Berkeley Marina.
  3. The street comes to a "T". Continue to the left.
  4. Take the first right into the parking lot for slips "J-K"

Delphinus will often dock behind Humphrey's Restaurant. Occasionally we are in an assigned berth in which case a crew member will meet you in front of the Harbormaster's building. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.

From the Bay Area:

  1. Take Highway 80 East to Highway 4 at Hercules.
  2. Go East on Highway 4. to Antioch.
  3. Exit on "L"/Contra Loma Street" in Antioch.
  4. Turn left on "L" at bottom of ramp, drive straight to the water.
  5. Cross the railroad tracks and you’re there.
    Alternative: You can also take Hwy. 24 to Walnut Creek and then north on 680. In Pleasant Hill, take Hwy. 242 (says Antioch/Pittsburg), going east to Antioch.

From Stockton, Brentwood, etc.:

  1. From Highway 4 West, exit at "A" Street.
  2. Go north (right) on "A" Street. (becomes 2nd St. and ends at "L" St.)
  3. Turn right onto "L" Street. Continue straight across r.r. tracks and you’re there.

From Placerville:

  1. Take 50 West to 80 West.
  2. Take 680 South (just past Vacaville/Cordelia).
  3. Continue south on 680, and cross the Benicia/Martinez Bridge ($4 toll).
  4. Exit on Highway 4 East.
  5. See directions from Bay Area for rest.

Driving East on Hwy. 80:

  • (Travel time from Berkeley is approx. 40 minutes) Travel on I-80 E and take the exit onto Hwy-4 E toward Stockton. Exit at Pine Street. Turn left at Center Ave./Pine Street. Continue to follow Pine Street. Take a slight right at Court St. Turn left at Marina Vista Ave., Turn right at Ferry St., Turn right at Joe DiMaggio St. Turn left at N. Court St.

Driving West on Hwy. 80:

  • (Travel time from Sacramento is approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes.) Travel on I-80 W and take exit 40 to merge onto I-680 S towards San Jose/Benicia (cross the Benecia Bridge) Take exit 56 toward Marina Vista/Martinez. Take Marina Vista Ave. west. Turn right at Ferry St. Turn right at Joe DiMaggio St. Turn left at N. Court St.

Driving West on Hwy. 4

  • (Travel time from Stockton is approx. 1 1/2 hours.) Travel on Hwy 4 W. take the exit onto I-680 N toward Sacramento/Cordelia. Take exit 56 toward Marina Vista/Martinez. Turn left at Marina Vista Ave., Turn right at Ferry St., Turn right at Joe DiMaggio St. Turn left at N. Court St.

From the Bay Area:

  1. Take 80 East to Hwy. 4 at Hercules.
  2. Go east on Hwy. 4 to Antioch and take 160 North.
  3. Follow 160 North over the Antioch Bridge and continue along the levee roads north to Walnut Grove. (You’ll pass the Rio Vista Bridge- it will be on your left, and the town of Isleton will be on your right.) Drive carefully and cautiously as the levee roads are narrow and without passing lanes. # After second bridge, turn right onto J11.
    (After Isleton you cross two bridges; the second bridge is in Walnut Grove. Cross this bridge and turn right (south) on J11 - aka Walnut Grove/Thornton Road. Do not confuse this with Old Walnut Grove/Thornton Rd!)
  4. Continue on J-11 about 1 mile and take a sharp left just before the Miller Ferry Bridge. Now you are practically in front of Giusti’s. Park in the lot and not on the levee road!

From Walnut Creek:

  1. Take 680 North to 242.
  2. Go east on Hwy. 4.
  3. Take 160 North just beyond Antioch. Then follow directions above.

Petaluma

Delphinus will be docked along the river behind the River House a large white Victorian landmark. If Delphinus is doing multiple trips this day, it may not have returned yet, but will shortly. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.

From Santa Rosa:

  • Exit 101 on Washington and turn right; continue toward downtown to Weller St. Turn left and park on street near the River House, 222 Weller Street. You will see Delphinus docked along the river behind the River House.

Driving from the South:

  • Take 101 north. Exit Washington. Turn left and towards downtown. Turn left again on Weller and park near the River House. You will see Delphinus docked along the river behind the River House.

Driving from the East:

  • From Vallejo while on I 80, take Columbus Parkway exit, and continue west on Highway 37. You can then use either Lakeville Hwy. or continue west to Hwy. 101. Either way, turn right and continue to Petaluma. If using 101, exit on Washington and left again on Weller. Follow directions above. If using Lakeville, turn left on Washington and left again (about one block) on Weller St. and follow direction as above.

From the East Bay:

  1. Take Hwy. 80 East towards Sacramento.
  2. Cross Carquinez Bridge ($4. toll), stay in right lanes.
  3. Exit at Sonoma Blvd. and continue on it in left lane until the Curtola Parkway intersection (stoplight) and jog left onto Mare Island Way.
  4. Go past the Vallejo Ferry Terminal and turn left at the stoplight onto Harbor Way.
  5. Turn left into the first driveway and park. A crew member will meet you at the gate for "K" dock. (Harbormaster's office is too far.)

From the North:

  1. Take Hwy. 80 south. Exit at Tennesse and go west to end.
  2. You will see the marina directly in front of you.
  3. Go left at Mare Island and right on Harbor Way.
  4. Park in first lot on left. A crew member will meet you at the gate for "K" dock. (Harbormaster's office is too far.)
